NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies is a trade association of over 600 companies which manufacture and distribute equipment, systems, software, supplies used in printing, publishing and converting.
The Association was founded as the National Printing Equipment Association in 1933. The 26 charter members included manufacturers of printing presses, bindery equipment, typesetting machinery and specialty equipment.
Today, the Association represents manufacturers, importers and distributors of equipment, supplies, systems and software used in every printing, publishing and converting process from design to distribution. Virtually all industry products and processes are represented by the member companies, which range in size from under $1 million in annual sales revenue to more than $1 billion.

NPES Recognizes Industry Leaders
NPES also presents the Harold W. Gegenheimer Awards for Industry Service. The awards, established in 1993, are presented annually to a member company of NPES and an individual employed by a member to recognize leadership and commitment to building a strong future for the printing and publishing industry and its suppliers.
NPES Endowed Scholarship Fund
NPES created the Regis J. Delmontagne Endowed Scholarship fund honoring NPES President Regis J. Delmontagne, recognizing his 25-year anniversary as the Association’s chief executive. The purpose of the endowed scholarship is twofold: to encourage bright young people to plan for careers in the industry and to benefit the employees and children of NPES member companies.
To be eligible for the NPES scholarships, a candidate shall be preparing for a career in graphic communications, planning to attend a school in the United States, and must meet standard PGSF requirements.
