In 1982, NPES joined with the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) and the Printing Industries of America (PIA) to form the Graphic Arts Show Company, Inc. (GASC).

The mission of GASC is to present the best run and most comprehensive trade exhibitions for the United States printing, publishing and graphic communications community, and to return the proceeds of the exhibitions to the industry through distribution to the three associations. The formation of GASC brought together under one management the GRAPH EXPO^® and thePRINT^® shows.

The national GRAPH EXPO^® show is held in Chicago each year and the mammoth PRINT^® exhibition takes place every four years in Chicago.

The sponsors of GASC use show revenues to fund the Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF^®), which channels those funds into projects that benefit the industry through education and research.

NPES members receive a show savings in all GASC shows, priority and first opportunity for space selection.
