Using iccMAX in Your Application

ICC DevCon 2018 will feature a top-notch expert panel of presenters on advanced color management topics. Further enhancing the program will be an iccMAX hands-on workshop focused on real-world scenarios that can be directly addressed by iccMAX-based approaches, which could not be easily accomplished with previous color management solutions. Presentation topics will include:

  • n-colour separation with iccMAX
  • Implementing a simple colour model using the Calculator element of iccMAX
  • How can iccMAX benefit digital photography?
  • Handling spectral images with standard and custom illuminants
  • Implementing observer metamerism correction on wide color gamut display using the iccMAX Framework
  • Correction of display viewing angle with iccMAX
  • Color and translucency definition and workflow for graphical 3D printing
  • PLUS: Hands-on workshop with RefIccMAX

The presentations will be followed by a hands-on workshop that utilizes the reference implementation library and tools for iccMAX—RefIccMAX—a complete toolkit for making and using iccMAX profiles that can readily be integrated into any application.
