    • AppaduraiAs the Country Manager for HP Indigo and Inkjet presses, India and Sri Lanka, Appadurai leads the digital press initiative in India and Sri Lanka. He is responsible for end-to-end GTM activities as well as the strategic planning and execution of sales growth and business excellence initiatives for HP Indigo and InkJet presses, which include both pre-and post-sales.

      Additionally, Appadurai also has full profit and loss responsibility for the business unit. One of Appadurai's key achievements in his current role was to grow the HP Indigo business in India and Sri Lanka into a mature and profitable business that is also one of the fastest-growing within HP.

      In his current role, Appadurai has successfully led his team of product managers in steering the business to new heights by introducing leading products and solutions to the market place, clinching high-value deals and developing strategic alliances with partners. Appadurai has close to 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and business management of which 10 years were in the digital print industry. Appadurai holds an MBA, as well as a diploma in printing and a computer science degree.

    • Maniraju BoraManiraju has been in the print industry for over 25 years with more than a decade in the field of blankets. He has extensive knowledge of press and prepress which allows him to provide customers with the proper tools to suit their needs. He is passionate about keeping Trelleborg’s market in India up to date with the latest products and technology.
      Maniraju graduated from the Printing college in Chennai. He has worked with companies like Stovec - Polychrome, Agfa and TechNova.

    • Alex CenterAlex Center is a Brooklyn-based Design Director who works for the global beverage leader, The Coca-Cola Company. He grew up in the town of Oceanside NY, home to the world's second Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs. He has spent most of his professional hours being creative on behalf of the beverage brand vitaminwater. Over the years, he has designed packaging that has been in hands across the globe, created breakthrough marketing campaigns, launched innovative new products and once met rapper 50 Cent who told him “You must think you're pretty special.” He got nervous and instantly started sweating. In 2011, Alex was named one of the 200 Best Packaging Designers by Luerzers Archive. In 2013, he started sharing his story with speaking engagements with The Dieline, AIGA, HOW Design Live and as a guest on Debbie Millman's famous Design Matters podcast. In 2014, Alex was named a Person To Watch by GDUSA Magazine. In 2016, he joined the AIGA In-house INitiative committee working to help address the unique opportunities and challenges faced by the in-house community. Today, he leads the strategy and design vision for brands at Coca-Cola that include vitaminwater, smartwater & Powerade. In his personal time he enjoys rooting for New York sports teams that wear orange/blue, editing instagrams for far too long and searching for the freshest prosciutto in New York City.

    • AVPS ChakravarthiChakravarthi has over three decades of experience in the paper, printing and packaging industry and he has been instrumental in developing various pharmaceutical compliance packs for U.S. and regulatory markets. He has served as chairman of Indian Institute of Packaging in Hyderabad.
      Chakravarthi has won the Worldstar Award for packaging excellence five years in a row and has recently been appointed as Ambassador of the World Packaging Organization (WPO).

      Harshit is a proud alumnus of Stanford Graduate School of Business and was the youngest entrant in their Customer Focused Innovation program. Another of his passions is to encourage ‘Design Thinking’ by presenting at various UX, Technology and Management conferences across the globe Being an electronics and telecom engineer, he loves to spend his spare time teaching at top B-Schools & D-Schools.

    • Sanjiv JaggiSanjiv started his career in packaging 37 years ago in 1980 with Metal Box, a global packaging company. After a successful 8-year stint with the company, Sanjiv moved on to join Annapurna Foils, which merged with INDAL, and later became part of Hindalco (Aditya Birla Group). At different stages, Sanjiv took charge and led the areas of sales, marketing, exports, and logistics.
      A seasoned professional, with great experience in the packaging industry, Sanjiv also worked with Alcan Packaging, the world's largest flexible packaging group, as the head of their India Pharma division. Here he was instrumental in upgrading operational and production processes.
      For the past 9 years, Sanjiv has managed strategy for Constantia's Pharma division business in India where his skills in business operations have proven valuable. He has also traveled extensively throughout his career and has a great functional understanding of international markets.

Over the last 22 years he has been involved in the restructuring of Vakils from a traditional print company to a high-tech IT-enabled Services Company. At Vakils, he has been instrumental in bringing NYSE listed Bowne & Co Inc. (recently acquired by RR Donnelly), the world's largest financial printing company to India.
      Bimal is also the Managing Director of Vakils Premedia, a subsidiary of Vakils. With offices in India and US; Vakils Premedia works with some of the leading companies to offer pre-media and cross media services around the world. His other directorships include Vakils, Feffer & Simons Pvt Ltd (publishing company) JD Jones (Bombay) Pvt Ltd (ship deck flooring) and JVX Media Services (XBRL services).
      Prior to joining Vakils, Bimal worked at CRISIL Ltd (India's first credit rating agency) as a research associate, and was part of the founding team to set up the information services business at CRISIL.
      Bimal has a MBA from Boston University Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the Managing Council of Somaiya Vidyavihar (an educational institution based in Mumbai) and also serves as a member of the Somaiya Vidyavihar Academic Council. An active Rotarian, Bimal is on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Bombay.
      Further, Bimal has served as Vice President of the American Alumni Association and The Bombay Master Printers Association and Honorary Secretary of the Indo American Society.

    • Shailesh NemaShailesh Nema has been closely associated with the packaging industry for over two decades in India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Before joining Michelman, he was most recently CEO at Ajanta Packaging Corporation where he oversaw manufacturing operations. He started his career at Greaves Cotton Ltd, Mumbai and also spent time at Avery Dennison India and UPM Raflatac India.

      At Michelman, Shailesh is currently designated as Country Manager and Director, overseeing business operations for South Asia and managing MICC (Michelman Innovation Center for Coatings) in Mumbai, which will redefine the packaging industry not only in India, but globally as well.

      He holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai; post graduate diploma (PGDM) from Helsinki School of Economics; and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering APS University, India.

      Shailesh with his wife Dr. Shikha, have two children, ages 13 and 3. Shailesh enjoys tennis, running, music and travel.

Narendra has been instrumental in upgrading the press with the latest technologies, and building a team that is professional in every way.
      Narendra was the recipient of the SAPPI International Printer of the Year Award in 2006, 2008, and 2010.

Aurobindo Pharma features among the top 10 companies in India in terms of consolidated revenues with exports to over 140 countries across the globe.

      R. Chandi Prasad has previously worked with Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, Actavis Pharmaceutical Mfg. Limited and Natco Pharma Limited. He has spent his career in packaging development, quality control and quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. He continuously ensures product stability, quality, safety, and compliance to regulatory and statutory requirements and uses his knowledge to educate and by speaking in industry seminars emphasizing packaging technology.

    • Avinash Kumar TalwarWith a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Post Graduate Degree in Packaging Technology from the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) Mumbai, Avinash brings with him more than 26 years of industry experience. Previsloy has worked for worked with renowned pharmaceutical majors namely Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, Nestor Pharmaceuticals, Max Pharma & Systopic Labs.

      In his current role, Avinash heads the team which is responsible for the sourcing & procurement of all Packaging Materials for the entire Dr. Reddy's organization. He has been actively involved in various forums as a speaker and is an active member of Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), core committee member for PackPlus South & earlier core committee member of the IIP Hyderabad Branch for 5 years. He has been actively involved in organizing national conferences and exhibitions of IIP.

      Avinash has received many accolades and recognitions. He was awarded the India Star Packaging Excellence Award in 2010 from IIP as well as other awards from UBM India i.e. Operation Excellence in Supply Chain (consecutive two years i.e. 2016 and 2017); Excellence in Patient Engagement as well as Excellence in Packaging Design, Cost Improvement; Packaging Machinery in 2016. Besides the API and excipients team from DR, the packaging team headed by Avinash also bagged the award for 'Operational Excellence' at the India Pharma Awards 2013 by UBM in Mumbai and received an award in the category of 'Most Innovative Vendor Management Practices' at HMFI-IAM Purchasing Awards India 2013 as well as Procurement Excellence Awards in 2016 by KamiKaze.

    • SN VenkataramanVenkataraman, or ‘Venky’ as he is fondly known in the industry, has in a career spanning over 25 years with ITC's Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division (PSPD) in Sales and Marketing. He has worked in field sales, key account management, international sales and as the head of domestic sales. During this period, ITC PSPD has steadily expanded business and is today a dominant player in packaging and graphic paperboards, communication papers and in specialty boards and papers. It is also a leader in the virgin boards and recycled boards segments.

      Venky initiated the membership of ITC in WWF-GFTN India which brings together companies and stakeholders interested in sustainable forestry development. He and his team have worked with FMCG, pharmaceutical, food and other packaged goods companies in meeting brand packaging requirements by bringing world-class products to the Indian market and propelling ITC PSPD to a leadership position. He is active on the CII Telangana panel and IIP, Hyderabad advisory committee.
