    • Faheem Agboatwala photoFaheem Agboatwala is the Managing Director of Hi-Tech Printing Services, the Mumbai-based pharmaceutical specialist printing solutions provider. Hi-Tech has been a pharma specialist print converter for 28 years with almost 30 percent of its business exported to the highly demanding North American and European markets.

      Faheem was born and brought up in Mumbai, joining the business 20 years ago. His knowledge of printing has been learned on the job, hands on, and today the business has grown to two manufacturing locations with more than 30 percent of its work directly exported to first world markets, including North America and Europe.

      He has been associated with the Bombay Master Printers Association for several years and founded the association's unique Share to Benefit Forum (StB) in the year 2007. This one of a kind forum has a group of 20 printing company owners, several of whom are competitors, who meet periodically to share thoughts, successes and failures and generally help each other keep abreast with advances in the print world. From August 2014 to September 2016, Faheem served as the association’s president and continues to be a part of its core team.

      Faheem is known as a stickler for time management, and his personal and company motto is "Beating Deadlines"!

    • As the Country Manager for HP Indigo and Inkjet presses, India and Sri Lanka, Appadurai leads the digital press initiative in India and Sri Lanka. He is responsible for end-to-end GTM activities as well as the strategic planning and execution of sales growth and business excellence initiatives for HP Indigo and InkJet presses, which include both pre-and post-sales.

      Additionally, Appadurai also has full profit and loss responsibility for the business unit. One of Appadurai's key achievements in his current role was to grow the HP Indigo business in India and Sri Lanka into a mature and profitable business that is also one of the fastest-growing within HP.

      In his current role, Appadurai has successfully led his team of product managers in steering the business to new heights by introducing leading products and solutions to the market place, clinching high-value deals and developing strategic alliances with partners. Appadurai has close to 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and business management of which 10 years were in the digital print industry. Appadurai holds an MBA, as well as a diploma in printing and a computer science degree.

Ray Duval has helped organizations worldwide to structure, improve, automate and optimize their production workflow and processes.

    • Robert HernandezRobert has made a name for himself exploring and developing the intersection of technology and journalism. He is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at USC Annenberg where his current projects with his students include augmented reality, wearables/Google Glass and virtual reality. Robert and his students produce their own virtual reality experiences under their own brand JOVRNALISM.
      Robert is a national board member of the Online News Association and co-organizer of the Los Angeles chapter of Hacks/Hackers. He was a co-chair of programming for the UNITY conference in 2012 and is a lifetime member and former board member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
      Previously Robert has been the director of development for The Seattle Times, web designer and consultant for El Salvador's largest daily newspaper site, La Prensa Gráfica, web producer for The San Francisco Chronicle and online editor of The San Francisco Examiner.

    • Nikhil KaushikNikhil is the co-founder of award winning start up Graviky Labs. Graviky Labs is an MIT spinoff that developed a patent pending retrofit pollution capture technology called Kaalink. This technology captures particles from diesel generators and vehicular exhaust, which are then refined a purified carbon pigment. The purified pigment is then used to make ink, which they’ve named ‘Air-Ink’, and can be used for printing, writing, and, other art materials.
      Prior to his work at Graviky, Nikhil, who is also qualified as a merit holder Fellow Chartered Accountant in India, ran a business and tax advisory practice based in Mumbai. In 2016 he was named one of the “100 Leading Global Thinkers” by Foreign Policy magazine.

  • Tanay Kumar

    • Tanay KumarTanay Kumar is the founding member and currently the CEO and Chief Creative Officer for Fractal Ink. He currently spearheads Visual Design and Design Strategy at the studio. After Graduating from BIT MESRA in 2000, he went onto finish his Post Graduate degree from IDC, IIT Bombay as a Visual Communication Designer. After graduating as a gold medallist from IIT Bombay, he teamed up with Priyanka to launch Ambiaance Designs in 2002. He moved to London in 2006, to join LBI (one of the largest Digital Agency of Europe) as a creative head for their Indian Arm. He helped stabilize relationships and bring design practices from London to their India office. After moving back to India in 2010, he was appointed Creative Director for LBI India. Shortly afterwards FIDS Pvt. Ltd. was formed with a vision to take digital design in India to the next level. Some of the brands that Tanay has helped shape during his professional journey are Microsoft, F1, Disney, British Telecom, Indian Railways, Nokia, Barclays, Axis Bank, ICICI, Samsung, Godrej.

      Under Tanay’s leadership Fractal Ink grew from a team of 7 people in 2010 to 100 people in 2017 becoming one of India’s Leading UX/UI Agency. Last year Fractal Ink was acquired by one of the leading global agency networks, Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) and, is now a part of DAN’s strong global digital team.

Currently he leads Design Strategy and Business Development at Ticket Design. Leveraging design thinking as a strategic edge in finding business solutions, Balkrishna (Bala) believes that a test of good design is to see how it works in the hands of the customer and user. He has been actively involved in promoting design awareness and in the process trained several hundred professionals in innovation and design thinking. He graduated from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He also engages as a jury member and advisor with various design institutes.

With 17 years of experience in the market research industry, Vikrant has worked across multiple industry verticals, providing strategies for local and global clients to stay ahead in a competitive market.

  • Robert McCurdy

    • Robert McCurdyRobert McCurdy serves as President of GTI Graphic Technology, Inc., the leader in the design and manufacturing of ISO 3664 and ASTM D1729 compliant lighting systems for critical color viewing and matching. GTI has offices in Newburgh, NY and Wittmund, Germany. Robert previously served as the company’s vice president of sales and marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Math from Colby College, in Waterville, Maine.

      Robert is a hands-on leader and has been involved with numerous industry committees. He takes an active role in GTI’s product development program and was instrumental in the development of GTI’s new iQ soft proofing technology. Robert also developed the company’s LiteSupport program, an on-site audit and certification program designed to help users maintain viewing systems to industry standards.

      With over 35 years of experience working with viewing systems for critical color applications, Robert is uniquely qualified to speak on how light effects the viewing of color.

Protheroe is currently the Vice-President Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa at Aleyant Systems LLC, a global leader in e-commerce solution technologies.

    • Hemant B Randive

      Hemant B. Randive graduated in Printing Technology from GIPT, J J School of Arts, Mumbai. He is from a family letterpress printing business that was in transition to offset. His career started on the shop floor as a camera operator; he then moved on to become a magna colour operator, resulting in strong skills in colour theory and reproduction. Changing perspectives, in 1980, he entered the advertising world resulting in a fascination with the ad world, creative, design, execution and faithful reproduction on paper.

      At Rediffusion Advertising, he got a rare opportunity to work on the Indira Ghandi congressional election campaign. Hemant followed this with a position at Ambiance advertising, fine-tuning the knowledge of colour reproductions in newspaper with clients such as Garden Silk Mills and Vadilal Ice Creams. He then moved to FCB Ulka Advertising where he has remained for 26 years and led the company to start in-house processing, making ready-to-print files within the advertising agency.

      Hemant has attended exhibitions such as drupa and IPEX and has served on the jury panel of the Printweek Awards; the jury for Dubai International Print Awards; and the jury for National Awards for Excellence. He has also participated regularly in knowledge seminars and workshops.

    • Snehasis RoySnehasis is a publishing professional with BS from Rochester Institute of Technology and MBA from NMIMS, University of Mumbai. His career spanning 25 years encompasses positions with several international companies including Time Magazine - USA, Cunard Lines - UK, DB Corp., Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. and ABP Pvt. Ltd. in various capacities. Snehasis has accredited academic and professional exposure to the entire publishing industry value chain and has project implementation experience in innovative, technical print publishing. His articles feature regularly in trade journals and other publications, and he is a frequent speaker at industry seminars.
