The popular NPES Annual Conference is where members come to… connect with industry experts and peers; make new business contacts; exchange perspectives on the state of the industry; and, participate in timely education sessions that equip them with all of the knowledge, trend and market data, and insights to strategically move their businesses forward.
During the NPES Business Session and General Membership Meeting, members gain informative ‘executive summary’ updates on the Association’s activities and conduct elections for its leadership. A much-anticipated highlight of the Annual Conference is the presentation of the Harold W. Gegenheimer Awards for Industry Service.
NPES Annual Conference attendees benefit from the world-class level of networking and exchange that members have come to expect from NPES. Following the fast-paced, content-rich education program, members and guests mix business with pleasure in a variety of pre-arranged optional leisure activities, and throughout the event spouses join in programming and events designed especially for them.
Created specifically to serve the needs of today’s—and tomorrow’s—print industry leaders, NPES Leadership Forums provide participants with a customized leadership training experience. NPES Leadership forums are dedicated to the continuous improvement of each Forum member. During these highly interactive sessions, the individual expertise of each Forum member is leveraged to bring forward practical and effective best practice ‘take-home’ business tools and new solutions that will help each participant most effectively operate and perpetuate their business. Each Forum is self-directed in determining meeting topics, the conduct of meetings and sharing of information. Outside of meetings, Forum partners continue to learn and benefit from one another by seeking and sharing counsel on business challenges and developing proposed solutions. Individual Forums are comprised of eight to ten member partners who are not direct competitors and meet three times a year. NPES provides a facilitator for each Forum meeting, who is well-versed in the graphic communications industry and small to medium-sized enterprises, to cultivate the involvement of each Forum partner to maximize their Forum experience.
