Welcome to NPES - The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies. 

This year, as we celebrate NPES' 75th Anniversary, it's a particularly fascinating time to look back to when our organization was founded, in 1933, and compare it to the present day.  Back then, our original 26 charter members were heavy equipment manufacturers who, quite simply, put ink on paper.  How our industry has changed since then!

Today, NPES is over 400 member companies strong.  Some of us still put ink on paper, but the role for many of our members has expanded exponentially - just as the need for our constantly evolving industry to stay connected through membership in NPES.

The voice of NPES resonates in our industry today because of our active member involvement and the efforts of a dedicated professional staff. Through NPES, members present a unified voice on the issues that impact us every day, such as international trade opportunities, market research, government affairs, product safety, standards development - and much more.

NPES, along with our two partners - PIA (Printing Industries of America) and NAPL (National Association for Printing Leadership) - sponsors the most widely-attended offset and digital commercial printing, design and pre-press, publishing, package printing/converting, and mailing and fulfillment trade shows in North America, PRINT and GRAPH EXPO.

Unsurpassed as the largest and most comprehensive graphic communications events in the Western Hemisphere, these important trade shows and conferences provide our industry with exciting, effective forums for: professional peer-to-peer networking, business development and educational opportunities, targeted buyer audiences who are there to see our new product introductions - and most of all a vibrant community whose vital exchange of information keeps our members on the leading edge innovation.
